Our property is professionally cleaned between each stay. Originally constructed for a renowned manufacturing jeweller with attention to detail & some fascinating features only a visit will reveal. A truly unique property with handles and a chandelier hand made by the jeweller himself. Marble open fireplace, floor to ceiling windows overlooking central Tawa, and all day sun. Privacy is number one, surrounded by bush and no visible neighbours. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway.

Good to know

Built in the 1970's with all day sun, Large house with multiple living areas. Modern bathrooms and kitchen. Looks over native New Zealand bush, with no visible neighbours from the house. Large master bedroom with ensuite, walk in wardrobe and views over tawa. Two other Large bedrooms with queen beds and a loft style bedroom with a queen bed and a sofa bed including tv, with views over tawa. Media room with a huge 85inch tv, Lounge with open fireplace, and a sitting room with hanging chair and views of the NZ bush. Great house to hang out with friends and family but to also have your own time.

Other Details to Note

We use an online check in process to verify your identity. A $200 security deposit is held by credit card and automatically released after you stay.

Lovely large home, comfy beds and good linen provided. Matched listing description and photos - even though it's a large home it was surprisingly warm. Great views and Chris/host was excellent at communication and checking in with us during our stay. Really appreciated Chris's understanding and organising of us to be able to check out slightly later last minute.

Beautiful place, good host, lots of room and rooms to explore haha Had an enjoyable time.with the family. Highly recommend. Had an issue with the t.v though it wouldnt play i guess something to do with the wifi. But no complaints as we played games and had family time anyway 😊

Bring your car, boat, bus or trailer. Plenty of off street parking and turn around space for any vehicle you bring. 10 min walk to Tawa Railway station with regular trains for a short 10 min ride to the city. 15 min drive to Wellington city.
